My license has been expired for five years. Do I have to start over with both the classes and retake the test?

Once you pass the 3-year reinstatement period you will want to make certain of the requirements by using our license finder tool online.

The answer will depend on both what type of license you held previously and when you first acquired your license. By answering the questions on the license finder tool you will be able to find and register for any required coursework or the exam prep courses.
