Real Estate Regulators from around the world gather this week in Baltimore, MD for the 2011 ARELLO Annual Conference. Here they will discuss how various regulatory agencies are navigating the changing economic and governmental factors that affect them and their licensees. Regulators will also share knowledge and best practices for effective oversight and management of the various regulated programs.
Many of the ARELLO workgroups and committees will also consider goals and rules governing licensing examinations, professional distance education, best practices in real estate and the time share registry. Regulators will also share ideas and concepts for proper rulemaking and position statements. The decisions made at the annual convention typically have an impact on the real estate industry for years to come. We will be in attendance at the conference and will report any new or interesting happenings. You can also follow along on twitter (search box is below) by using the hashtag #2011ARELLOAC.
